Why New Braunfels
A river town that's ready for a calmer kind of night.
New Braunfels is one of the fastest-growing cities in America, and it spends its summers on the water: tubing the Comal and the Guadalupe, wandering Gruene, a day at Schlitterbahn. It pulls a young, spend-the-day-outside crowd.
When we searched the directories, we found no dedicated kava bar in town. So the plan is a proper Thrive lounge in the Downtown and Gruene corridor, close to the rivers, not out on the highway.

Checked with the city first
New Braunfels' permitting is the least standardised of our three towns, so we confirm the process directly with the city before we sign a lease.
Nothing is final until a lease is signed, so we won’t publish an address yet. The founding list hears first.

New Braunfels' edition puts the Thrive mark between its two rivers: the Comal on one side, the Guadalupe on the other, with tubers, a kayaker, an arched bridge and the Hill Country rolling away behind. Its line says the rest.
